The 1790 Maryland Census contains two individuals who appear to be John's children[9]:

  • Joshua Chilcoat (Baltimore County household consisting of one male (himself) and 2 females)
  • James Chilcote (Frederick County household consisting of one male (himself) and 1 female)

Neither household is listed as having any slaves.

Historical Records

A "Robison Chilcot," possibly John's son Robinson, is listed in Pennsylvania in 1780.
