  • Ralph (age 21) signed up for the WWI draft in 1917. He lists himself as a chauffeur for the Madison Taxi Co. in Minneapolis. He lists that he has a father, a mother, and three sisters under 12 years old, and he claims that his income helps support them. He gives his birthday at 5/10/1896, which conflicts with the date on his headstone. He lists his birth place as Beltzy, Russia.
  • Eraph (age 23), parents Hymen (age 52) and Bertha (age 50), and siblings Solomon (age 17), Mildred (age 15) and Sylvia (age 10) live in Minneapolis, MN in the 1920 Federal Census. They own (but have a mortgage on) their home. Hyman is listed as a "junk peddler". Eraph: Stenographer; Garment Mfg. Co. Solomon: Salesman; Clothing Store. Mildred: Saleswoman; Clothing Store
  • Ralph (age 33) and Jeanette (age 26) live in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota in the 1930 Federal Census. They rent their home. They have no children. Ralph lists his birth place as Beltz, Russia. Jeanette was born in Illinois to Polish parents. Ralph is a plumber, in is own shop. They speak Yiddish or Russian in their home.
