Nothing is known about either of Magnus's parents, except the name of the grandparents. Magnus's paternal grandparents are Jonas SVENSSON and Stina ANDERSDOTTER. His maternal grandparents are Måns JONSSON and Margareta[8].

  • 1802 Dec. 26: Magnus Svensson and Maja Stina Johannesdotter were married in Klinthult, Jönkoping.
  • 1805 Aug. 21: Lena Magnusdotter was born in Klinthult, Jönkoping.
  • 1810 Dec. 25: Stina Greta Magnusdotter was born in Klinthult, Jönkoping.
  • 1823 Jun. 3: Magnus Svensson died in Klinthult, Jönkoping, from pulmonary tuberculosis.
  • 1826: Maja Stina Johannesdotter married again, to Erik Svensson and sold her farm to her daughter, Lena. Lena later sold the farm to her children on 14 May 1839. The children sold the farm back to Maja Stina on 29 July 1847 fro 922 riksdaler 10 shilling 8 runstycken.
  • 1862 May 27: Erik and Maja Stina sold the farm to Anna Persdotter in Klinthult.
  • 1866 Jan. 19: After being sick for only one day, Maja Stina died.
  • 1869 Nov. 6: Erik Svensson, Maja Stina's second husband, died on Planen under Bodaryd.
  • From a note to Keith Anderson from Henry Renshult, Bergsgatan 19, 576 00 SAVSJO, Sweden: Erik came 1823 from Bringetofta parish as a farm hand to Maja Stina. When they married in 1826, they moved to Hjälmseryd parish. They came back in 1848. Erik borrowed 14 Feb. 1861 from the secretary Oskar Hegg in Stenshult in Vrigstad parish 333 riskdaler 33 shillings. Erik and Maja Stina sold 27 May 1862 the farm to the widow Anna Persdotter (Agneta's (Henry's wife) grandfather's grandmother) in Klinthult. Erik and Maja Stina lived in the house till 14 March 1866. Then Erik moved to Planen under Bodaryd farm, where he died. He had been a sound and good worker with good health.
