Obituary
Bertha Louise (Nee Gain) Peacefully on Monday, October 16th, 2006 at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, in her 93rd year. A graduate nurse of TGH, class of 1937, she was predeceased by her loving husband Frederick Richard Maddocks, sisters Winnifred and Bobbie and brother Drew. At her side were her son Peter, daughter-in-law Dallas (Stark), granddaughters Meagan and Courtney and her daughter Joanne Linn (Hugh). No service at her request and donations, if desired, may be made to the CNIB in her memory. (Published in the Vancouver Sun on 10/21/2006)[2]
