Middle Name

The Lindstrom Book consistently refers to August's middle name as "Edvall" (page 8, 36, 36). However, on his WWI draft registration card, August writes his own middle name as "Edward."[9]

Emil never married, he and his brother August were in partnership in the operation of the Old Homestead and were the last of the Lindstroms to live there.

Historical Records

  • August is recorded in the 1930 Federal Census of Phelps County as living with his wife, Anne (38), and sons: Kenneth (16, listed as a farm laborer), Morris (14) and Curtis (10).[10]
