The 1920 federal census of Franklin County, Nebraska recorded the John & Minnie Schepler household, along with children Albert, Chester, Hilda, Leo, and Bernice.[5]
By 1930, the Albert and Anna were living together with their baby, "Valjene," and boarders Violet Riley (a public school teacher, ~20) and Chester Schepler (~26).[6] Albert and Chester were farming.
The 1940 federal census recorded Albert and Anna living in a rental home with their daughters, "Valgene" and Janice.[7] Albert was farming.
