The 1900 Federal Census records Charles O Henry (46; farmer; born in Ohio, father born in Ohio, mother born in Maryland), and wife Mary J (42; born in Illinois, father born in Ireland, Mother born in Ireland), and their children, all born in Nebraska: Walter M (19), Mary E (17), Howard A (15), Laura E (12).[6]
An Eathel Henry (Feb. 4, 1835 - Nov. 16, 1880) is buried in Deaver Cemetery. His findagrave page lists him as having two wives, sisters: Margretta Ellen Forsythe Henry (1838 - 1885) and Ellen M Forsyth Henry (1839 - 1885).[7] As the eldest male Henry buried in the cemetery, and with his age being approximately 18 older than Charles, he seems a likely father of Charles.
