Carolina had a brother with 7 children: 1 son, six daughters. 5 of the daughters emigrated to Chicago, Illinois.[6]
Avram was born in Bacău, Romania, and lived his adult life in Bucharest, Romania. Adolph Bernstein's family tree says that he was a "sage of Jewish community."[7]
