  • 1884: Carl David Hedell left Gothenburg, Sweden and arrived in New York
  • 1887: Johan Alfred Hedell left Gothenburg, Sweden and arrived in New York
  • 1888: Peter Emanuel Hedell left Gothenburg, Sweden and arrived in New York
  • 1889: Augusta Wilhelmina ("Minnie") Hedell left Gothenburg, Sweden and arrived in New York

According to Jörgen Hedell, "Three of [Minnie's] siblings came to US, Alfred , David and Emil. Two of them had family. Back in Sweden [Minnie] had 4 sisters and 1 brother, Anna, Maria, Hanna (twin to Peter Emanuel), Hilda and Gustaf. Anna and Gustaf got married but just Anna had children, and this is my side of Hedell family."[6]
