 Curtis completed his High School Education in Loomis, He married Esther Carlson, Mar. 14, 1942, and they farmed North of Holdrege a number of years, then when they decided to quit farming they moved to Grand Island, NE., and Curtis started working for Sidles Company an Auto Parts Distributor, after working there a few years Curtis was transferred to Norton Kansas another Company Store, his next move was to Loomis, NE., where he became Utilities Manager and Marshal, he held that position a few years then he and Esther moved to Hodrege, NE., he went to work for S&W Auto Parts, Esther and Curtis had one daughter, Julie Marie, Julie married Larry Nyberg and they live in Loomis, NE.  Curtis retired shortly after Esther died, May 04, 1983.
